According to a social media post, Elon Musk's top automaker Tesla plans to introduce a satellite phone to compete with the traditional models made by Samsung, iPhone, and other top manufacturers.

             

The post stated that the Pi, the first generation satellite phone, will launch this month and would offer "high-speed internet with high-quality calls" no matter where the user was located on the planet. According to the statement, the phone's battery "never runs out" and its memory would be between 1000 and 2000 gigabytes.


When assertions were verified, it was out that Tesla had not released any official information regarding the launch of satellite phones. Factly, a well-known publication that keeps a careful eye on technological advancements, likewise labelled the assertions as rumours and hypotheses.
